ABOUT US> Outreach
Synapse Productions is committed to strengthening the Theatre's
vital role in today's ongoing social, political, and cultural discourse.
The success of that mission relies on a spirit of inclusiveness
and the participation of a diverse audience. To that end,
Synapse has always sought to make our productions accessible
to under-served communities.
Post-show "Talk Backs"
Several performances of each production are followed by opportunities
to meet our creative team, providing audiences with the chance to
learn more about the plays and their particular challenges and themes
through a dialogue with actors, designers, and the director.

Backs, contact us
School Day Matinees
Synapse offers special weekday matinee performances of each
production to high school groups. All shows are followed by Talk
Backs with the cast and director. With significantly discounted
ticketing (often at little or no cost to students and educators)
these performances create new opportunities for young people to
explore new ideas and find their voice.
Special Programming
Through unique Arts-in-Education events, Synapse strives to emphasize
and amplify the particular cultural and societal relevance of the
work we do. For example, 1984 and Animal Farm's timely themes gave
rise to the Orwell Symposium, the Doublethink Summit, and the Youth
Mock Election workshops.

The cost of a ticket should never prevent people from experiencing
live theatre. Synapse strives to make discounted and free tickets
available to those not otherwise able to afford a full-priced ticket.
"Pay-What-You-Wish" Wednesdays
The first few Wednesdays of each show's run are Pay-What-You-Wish!
Comp Policy
Synapse regularly donates tickets to Hospital Audiences, Senior
Centers, Gay Men's Health Crisis, and the International Student
Center.
