Dear Friends,
Synapse produces plays that entertain while challenging the way
we think about the world. This season we're pleased to share with
you a couple of our smash hit shows which are returning for a limited
run, and an exciting New York Premiere.
THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD is back by popular demand! Critics
and audiences raved about this humorous tale of gentrification that
played to sold-out houses in May. We are delighted to welcome Deanna
Pacelli back onstage to perform the show on Monday evenings, now
through November 7th.
ANIMAL FARM (the Puppet Musical) also returns, but as an eight-city
national tour--a Synapse first! The tour kicks off in November with
three special performances in New York City.
In February, we present the New York premiere of Barbara Hammond's
gorgeous love story NORMAN & BEATRICE: A Marriage in Two Acts.
A moving portrait of fifty years of marriage, the play celebrates
the daily heroism-the tenderness, the patience, the humor and the
love-required to cope with the challenge of growing old together.
We look forward to seeing you at the theatre soon!
