Spring Gala May 2002
Synapse threw the third annual Spring Gala Downstairs at The Culture Project. An incredible jazz trio featuring violinist Todd Reynolds warmed up the crowd, and Special Guests Christopher Lloyd, Kathleen Chalfant and Sloane Shelton performed a hilarious reading from Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. The food, generously donated by seven local restaurants, was delicious.

Spring Gala May 2001
Synapse returned to the same gorgeous Union Square loft as the Launch Party to celebrate its second year. As always, the Jazz music was inspired and the food was scrumptious. Hilarious performances included excerpts from A Month in the Country, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Canterbury Tales.

Launch Party
Synapse began its journey in grand style in May of 2000, with a fundraising event for 180 people in a 2500 square foot loft in Union Square. The evening featured gourmet food donated by five area restaurants, an open bar, live Jazz music, and performances of excerpts from plays under consideration for our first season, including The Elephant Man and The Visit.
